Lefebvre Legacy Project

Generosity Into Action.

The Lefebvre Legacy Project helps Legacy Men turn generosity into lasting acts of service across Guelph, creating tangible “miracles” for people and organizations in our community.
About the Project

Making a Difference in Our Community

The Lefebvre Legacy Project is a $100,000 endowment fund established by Brent Lefebvre.
Twice each year, members of the Legacy Men’s Group can apply for funding towards a project that supports a community group, activity or other need. The Project will use the energy and skills of Legacy Men to turn Brent Lefebvre’s generosity into lasting acts of service across Guelph, creating tangible “miracles” for people and organizations in our community.

Local Impact

The Project is focused on Guelph and the people and organizations that strengthen the community.

Hands-On Service

Legacy Men are expected to contribute their time, leadership and effort, not only project funding.

Lasting Results

Projects are chosen with an eye toward meaningful outcomes that continue beyond the day the work is finished.

About Lefebvre

The Person Behind the Project.

Lefebvre’s story is one of determination, humour, generosity and a refusal to let a diagnosis define what comes next.

After being diagnosed with stage 4 adenocarcinoma, Lefebvre began documenting his health journey for friends, family and supporters. From the beginning, his approach was grounded in action. In his own words, “Fortunately, I am not a stat.”

That mindset is reflected in the Lefebvre Legacy Project. Lefebvre chose to direct his own generosity outward by donating $100,000 to create opportunities for Legacy Men to serve others and to build something that can continue to grow in the Guelph community.

The Project is intended to carry forward more than Lefebvre’s name. It carries forward a willingness to act, to help, and to make the time and resources available today matter to someone else tomorrow.
